Review: Ex Appeal by Cari Quinn

As the webmistress for one of the Northeast’s hottest dating sites, Hunk Du Jour, Jenny Talbot is no stranger to reading the applications of potential clients. But when the latest application that crosses her inbox belongs to Ty Randall, the guy she broke up with a mere twenty-seven days ago, she does a double take. Reading what Ty wants in bed not only gets Jenny hot, it also makes her rethink ending their relationship. All she longed for was a little more spice in the bedroom—okay, a lot more—but he let her go without an argument. Faced with the possibility that Ty may really be moving on, getting her ex back becomes more appealing than ever. But will revealing exactly what she needs allow Jenny to finally experience ultimate pleasure or will she drive away the man she loves for good?

Rosalie's Review: 5/5

Ex Appeal gives us the sweet, heartwarming tale of two people who overcome trial and error and fight their way back to each other. Jenny has been with her boyfriend, Ty, for several years, and recently ended their relationship due to infidelity—that is, he had developed a love for his job that seemingly outweighed his interest in her.

This story drew me in for two key reasons: the strong emotion between Ty and Jenny, and the insights given to the nature of their relationship. Ms. Quinn successfully wove a realistic tale that was nearly bittersweet at first; we see misunderstanding has separated our lovers, but the passion they felt for each other had nowhere near subsided. Ty believes Jenny to have lost interest in him due to the changes she made, both cosmetic and in the bedroom. Jenny believes Ty to have lost interest in her, due to his lackluster response to said changes, which were designated to rekindle and save their romance. The realistic portrayal of a seemingly doomed relationship and the hopeful, not to mention hot as all get out, reunion was the perfect combination in any good erotic romance.

Ex Appeal is the uplifting story of rediscovering love, understanding the importance of communication, and the hope for what lies ahead. This is one that should go to the top of your TBR list.

Awww That's my girl! I'm so glad you liked Jenny and Ty. It's one of my favorite couples that Cari put together on the page.
;)
I'd LOVE a Ty in my life.

Thanks so much for this great review, Rosalie! It means so much to me that you took the time to read and review Ex Appeal. I'm so happy you enjoyed the story!

I have several of your books on my TBR and I notice you blogged some excerpts of Firsts today. I'm on my way to check those out. I know Jaime loves that story. Can't wait to read it! :)
