You wanna know who’s awesome? Lori Green. She’s amazingly awesome. Not only is she an author of touching, funny, well-written, not to mention HOT fiction, she’s an all-around cool gal. Someone I’d like to hang with should we serendipitously discover we’re neighbors (OMG, that would kick ass!)

I’ve been a fan of Lori’s since reading the sinfully hot 666 Angel Lane. I admit, I approached the book with trepidation, as I was in the process of completing Lost Wages of Sin, which while similar in theme is completely different in content and theology. I usually shy from reading books that sound too much like something I am writing or have in the works, but I couldn’t help myself, and I am so glad I didn’t try.

Sugar B’s Back In Town -> Another one of her works, and admittedly, a little less up my alley. Yet for as much as I adored 666 Angel Lane, I knew I couldn’t resist more of Lori’s wit, not to mention her artistry with words. I’m so glad I read this book. More than 666 Angel Lane, Sugar B’s Back In Town is real and gritty, emotional yet not over the top. I loved Sugar’s aunts, Red and Lil, loved the themes of redemption, starting over, healing, all while encased with warm humor and steamy romance between the title character and the tender, somewhat mysterious (to me, anyway) Jerusalem Cannon.

I just bought Lori’s most recent release (Hot, Hexed and Bothered) and can’t wait to dive into it. Bottom-line: if you want to read well-written, hot, funny, touching books with memorable characters, Lori Green’s the gal for you. And if you don't like these things in a book...well, then I don't care to know what you read.

You got it in a nutshell, Rosalie. Everything she writes is pure gold.

Rosalie, this was so sweet of you and I'm truly touched. Your support has been tremendous and it makes it easier dealing with some of the lows knowing there's someone out there like you.

Now I need to go read Lost Wages of Sin and see how you approach a similar theme.

Thank you so much.

@Carolyn - I totally agree! I love authors who make me want to write when I read their work. Truly inspirational. She's one of a kind.

@Lori - Well, thanks. >.> Your work is truly some of the best I've read. The way you integrate humor into your stories while maintaining the level of urgency and heat is phenomenal. Authors like you inspire me. Truly. :o)
